D.O.P.A. — Dive Operations Paperwork App
Digitise the operation without reinventing the way your team works.
Your paperwork exists for a reason. Supervisors know it, clients expect it, procedures are built around it. Going digital should not mean starting again.
We configure D.O.P.A. around the paperwork and process you already use. The dive operation stays the unit of work — its dive logs, work logs, toolbox talks and checklists, from the office preparing it to whoever needs the records later.
- Digital dive logs, work logs, toolbox talks, checklists and operational forms
- Works offline — paperwork is completed on site without a signal
- Completed records synchronise when connectivity returns
- Digital signatures captured as part of completing the paperwork
- Searchable operational records
- Forms and workflows configured around your existing paperwork
Track record
Built around real operations. Refined through real audits.
D.O.P.A. grew from years of building and supporting a digital operations platform for one of our commercial diving clients. Used in day-to-day operations and reviewed through real client audits, that experience shaped the D.O.P.A. platform available today.

Read the case studyThe problem
Dive operations run on records
Every commercial dive operation produces operational records. They have to be completed on site, they have to reach the office, and they have to be found again later — sometimes years later, usually at short notice.
On paper that means forms filled in on a quayside, carried back, scanned, filed, and searched for by hand when a client or an auditor asks.
Completed on site
Records are created where the work happens, often in poor conditions and without a signal.
Moved to the office
They then have to reach the people who need them, without being lost or delayed.
Found again later
A record nobody can retrieve is a record that causes a problem.
Workflow
How a dive operation moves through D.O.P.A.
Office
The office prepares the operation
The dive operation is created with the job details and the paperwork it requires.
Field
The supervisor receives it
It reaches the supervisor's device with its forms attached — the dive logs, work logs, toolbox talks and checklists that job needs.
Offline
Paperwork completed without a signal
Forms are completed and signed on site whether or not the device has a connection. Quaysides, barges and remote sites do not stop the record being made.
Sync
Records synchronise when connectivity returns
Back in range, completed records synchronise to the office. Nothing depends on a folder coming back intact.
Office
The operation's history stays retrievable
Completed operations and their paperwork are held centrally, ready to produce when a client, manager or auditor asks.
Records
Find the operation, not the folder.
Operational information should not disappear into filing cabinets, scans or photographs on someone's phone. Previous operations and the paperwork that belongs to them can be retrieved from the digital operational record when office staff, clients, managers or auditors need them.
- Search completed operations and the records that belong to them
- Every log, form and checklist stays attached to its dive operation
- Produce the signed paperwork for an operation when it is requested
- Records do not depend on a supervisor's folder coming back intact
What you send the client
The operation comes back out as paperwork
Your customers expect documents they recognise. A completed operation is generated as the paperwork for that job, laid out under your own letterhead rather than ours — so going digital does not mean handing your client something they have never seen before.
- Generated from the record the supervisor completed on site
- Under your own letterhead, not Marine Deep's
- The same operation produces the different documents a job needs

Beyond the standard product
Start with digital dive operations. Expand when you need it.
Some contractors need more than operational paperwork. Marine Deep can extend the digital environment around the wider business — from customer and quotation workflows to invoicing, asset management, integrations and bespoke operational systems.
